It seems like there is always controversy when a game tries to broaden its audience, many see it as a sign that the series is in decline, and will be a poor game, solely due to the fact that the developers want more people to enjoy their game. Many times the concerns are proven to be deserved and the game takes a hit critically. However, this is not always the case, some games shine in the limelight, and give every kind of gamer an opportunity to get together and have some good old fashioned fun.
